How did you get started in writing & producing?

Writing: I got my start writing for theatre in college and slowly transitioned to screen after graduating. My first success came when I was a finalist in the Jameson First Shot competition in 2014.

Directing: I started directing shorts in 2013 and that eventually transformed into the web series #ATown.

How did you first get involved in the movie?

We wanted to make a feature film so we came up with a premise and I wrote it.

When did you move to Austin, and how is it different from when you first moved here?

I was born in Austin and lived all over town. I've had the front row seat to Austin's transformation over the past 30 years and it is a cosmically different city now than it was even 5 years ago.

What do you think about crowdfunding on Seed&Spark so far? Best parts? Worst parts?

The best part of crowdfunding on S&S is the transparency it forces on its filmmakers. The worst part is the waiting. Patience isn't one of my virtues in crowdfunding.

What is your favorite form of art and why?

Filmmaking. It's the Gesamtkunstwerk.

If you could make everyone but one other person disappear, who would you keep around?

Can I say my cats? If not I guess it would be Elena. ;)
